Overview
Dome array can be done with 2 options, pre-loads metal domes on polyester carrier, or directly uses embossing polyurethane with conductive paste to complete the man-machine interface functions. Both are with adhesive for easily assembly no matter the key number is one or a hundred. The carrier’s size and dome’s size and force can be varied with needs.
Polydome
Polydome is formed with polyurethane film by embossing tool. Unlike metal dome, there’ll be conductive silver or graphite printing at the dome’s internal side. Polydome is considered cheaper and quiet but with less positive tactile feedback and fewer life cycles.

Metal dome
Metal dome is a dome-shape stainless steel sheet normally with nickel or gold-plating. It can be with different shapes from round to square, legs or dimples for better assembly and tactile feedback or through hole for LED underneath. Metal dome provides actual tactile feedback can longer life cycle.
